MUDr. Jiřina Kosová

MUDr. Kosová works in Unicare as a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist. She has graduated at 3rd Medical Faculty at Charles University in 1994 and continued her postgradual studies in Neurosciences. She has attestation from Psychiatry (I. and II. level) and also attestation from Psychotherapy. Among Unicare she is Head Doctor of the Psychotherapy unit and the Day Care Centre of the National Institute for Mental Health (former Prague Psychiatric Centre) an also works as an Assistant at 3rd Medical Faculty at Charles University. Outside of her regular work she is active in teaching and consulting, organising management of research and studies within Psychiatry and Psychology. Within psychotherapy she is specialised to cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy and treating anxiety and depression. She is a member of Czech Medical Chamber, Czech neuropsychofarmacology society, Czech psychiatric society, Cognitive-behavioural society, where she is also a member of the board. She speaks Czech and English.
